Unity Lodge met in the Central Hall on Monday evening, when two former members "were re-admiited into membership.. Reports were read from the secretary (Sister Wood) and S.J.W. (Bro. F. W. Ansley). The former showed a slight decrease in membership for the quarter. Sister Mrs. W. Grant gave a very interesting'report of the recent Grand Lodge session held' at Christchurch, and the thanks of the Lodge were accorded her. It was resolved to holdj. in connection with the Lodge and Temple, a chrysanthemum competition anci bran-tub on the 15th inst., the proceeds to form part of a fund to entertain the next Grand Lodge and visitors. During the evening greetings were received from the Pioneer Lodge and the Sunbeam Temple, Wellington. Refreshments were handed round* which brought to a close a very enjoyable evening-
