HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY MEETING THIS EVENING.
We our readers' attention to an advertisement appearing in another column calling a meeting of the Horticultural Society in the Borough Council Chambers. For many years the society was a great success. On the outbreak of war it was decided, in view of the many important calls on the public, to temporarily cease holding the shows. Now that more tranquil times have come about a determined effort is to be made to resuscitate the society, and regularly hold' shows, which will be worthy of the importance of our city. Will all'who are interested in the sub* jeet make a point of attending the meeting this eveiing, the 7th inst., at 8 o'clock. -....'
