Another monster programme Is announced for to-night at the popular His Majesty's Theatre. The Tannhouser Coy. presents the* third great complete episode of the1 mysterious serial, "The Million Dollar Mystery," entitled "A Leap in the Dark." For the benefit of those who missed the first two episodes the synopsis is as follows:—Hargr.eay.es, millionaire and traitor member of a Russian secret society, the "Black Hundred," plans to escape their ven_ geance by disappearing with his only daughter Florence, and a .million dollars he has drawn from the' bank. He makes his escape in a balloon. The million dollars disappear mysteriously. They search, the house, vainly for the money and also try to kidnap Florence which plan is frustrated in an exciting manner by Norton, a butler. Tbe synopsis of episode No. 3, "A Leap in the Dark," is: Reports having come to hand that an ocean liner has brought ashore a stranger rescued from a wrecked balloon wUh 5000 dollars in his pocket, Norton sets out to find him. The scene shifts from one place to another as the gang c: deavour to secure their victim. Faster grows the plot and more spectacular the sensations, as the production is revealed upon the screen.
