HUNTERVILLE SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting, of the above committee was Jield on Monday evening, the following members being present:—Messrs. Ash worth (chairman), Cole, Campbell, Lyall, and Middlemas. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
Leave of absence was granted to Mr Howie.
CORRESPONDENCE.—A letter was received from Miss Lynch, resigning her position as assistant mistress. —Resignation accepted with regret. Prom the Education Board, requesting that an auditor be appointed.—lt was resolved that Mr. Mowat be appointed.
From the Education Board, requesting the Committee to form themselves into a technical committee and appoint a director.—Committee formed, and Mr. Middlemas appointed director. GENERAL.—It was resolved that an application be forwarded to the Education Board asking them to defray'the cost of a sink being put in the teacher's residence, the cost being 7s 6d; also to forward a new enamel sink for the teacher's residence. .
Amounts amounting to £1 19s Cd were passed for payment.
