He pluckily grabbed the reins, out before-he could get clear the wheel went over one leg, causing a nasty gash under the leg above tfee knee, and bruising the knee. Luckily no bones were, broken. After the wound was dressed the patient was got ready for the ambulance, which was . brought. ■ down fro m Waverley, and taken, to the Waitotara Station and sent.to Patwa'tosjpital.
