AT OAMARU.
OAMARU, April 15. A fire was. discovered in -the lower. Bfcorey of A. and D: Simpson's -furniture warehouse this evening- at^7:.2o,v which was extinguished vonly after th©- place had been flooded with water. The fire started \ amongst some flax and had spread to other;in|flainmAble,mat^ial. The insurances are;: £150; in the Soutji British and £750 in ; the- Royal Assurance. The.furniture and stock w.as 7 not much damaged, .butthe .extent ;ofthe loss cannot be ascertained till after an overhaul. ! '
