GREYMOUTH HARBOUR BOARD
(By Telegraph.—Press Afcsoctfttiwi.) GREYMOUTH, 'Lint- Night. Tho attempt made by tho Government to wipe out tho Greyroouth Harbour Board was discussed at a meeting ht'ld last night, when members took strong exception to the Minister's alleged lack of courtesy in not consulting the Board. The following motion was passed:— "This Board resents the action of the Minister in not consulting the Board as promised before "bringing in legislation dealing with the Board' b finance, and also the .suggestion that the Board had been guilty of extravagance, which is absolutely without foundation. The fullest investigation is demanded into tho Board's administration."
