JOHN THOMPSON " has been favored with instructions from Mr James Keppel, who is about to leave the country, to sell by auction on the Premises, Milview Farm, within two miles of Lawrence, as above — The whole of his valuable freehold property, known as Milview Farm, situate in Block VI., Tuapeka West, comprising 620 acres of first-class land, all securely fenced, with sheep-proof fences, and subdivided into nine paddocks, varying from 40 to 140 acres. There are 250 acres under English grass ; 80 acres under autumn-sown wheat; 25 acres fallow land, prepared for spring sowing; 100 acres of stubble (first-crop) partly ploughed ; the balance in natural grass. BUILDINGS. The Buildings consist of a substantially-built Five-roomed House, with Dairy, Barn, Stables, Implement Sheds, Piggeries, &c. LIVE STOCK. The Live Stock consists of 12 Horses, including 6 first-class Draught Mares and Geldings, 40 head of Cattle, including 20 first-class Dairy Cows, 1 two-year-old Shorthorn Bull (bred by James Shand, Esq., Taieri.) Also, 170 three-quarter-bred Merino Hoggets, 2 Sows, Fowls, &c. IMPLEMENTS, &c. Double-furrow Plough, 2 Swing Ploughs, Four-horse Grubber, Drill Grubber, 3 sets Iron Harrows, 2 Farm Drays with frames (nearly new), Tip Dray, Reaper, Roller, No. 4 Chaffcutter (with horse power) ; also 6 sets of Plough Harness, 4 sets Leading Harness, 2 sets of Body Harness, Bridle, Saddle, &c. Also, 1 Stack of Oats and 3 Stacks of Straw. Dairy Utensils,' including Barrel Churn, and other useful articles too numerous to particularise. The Auctioneer desires to attract the special attention of parties in want of a first-class farm, compactly and well situated. The land is admitted as being the best in the Tuapeka District, is well watered, and from its extent will prove a valuable Dairy and Tillage Farm combined, and is for absolute sale.
