ANOTHER RISE IN BREAD.
SEVENPENCE WILL BE CHARGED TO-MORROW. The Christohuroh bakers will charge 7d for the 41b loaf toymen-row. The present price is 6£d, wihich iy a rise of £d on the normal price. The total rise, therefore, is Id on the 41b loaf. The rise has not been officially announced yet, but the president of the JJakers' Union will call a meeting for this evening, when the rise will be forinally made. It is generally understood that 7d will be the maximum, and that after standing at that figure for a short time the price will come down, in accordance with the anticipated fall in the prices of wheat and flour.
