PRESIDENT'S CUP.
Addington B (with three men absent) played a drawn game with Avon on the Polo ground, each side scoring four goals. For Addington, Clark (two), Greer and Granger scored, and for Avon, Pearce (three) and Calvert shot successfully. Mr J. W. Simes was referee. The game between Addington A and Christchurch B, played on the Polo § round, proved an easy victory for Adington, who won by seven goals, scored by M'Whirter (two), Pearce (two), Cundy, Yates and Kissel, to two goals, shot by Nioolls. Mr J. M'Cracken was referee. Lyttelton and ChristchuTch A played a very keenly-contested match on the Polo ground, Lyttelton winning by a goad to nil. ' Loader scored for the winners. Mr R. Suckling was referee. Sydenham had a bye.
