The Senate voted, by a large majority, money for the erection in ita I galleries of busts of Senators Trarietuc ! and Sheurer Kestner, who first favoured the innocence of Captain Dreyfus, and ere his witnesses at the various triais. : (The Court of Cassation decided fchafc Dreyfus was innocent, and quashed ths judgment of the Rennes Court, as erroneous and unjustified. It has been decided that there shall be no fresh, trial. The Government intend* to pro- , mote Captain Dreyfus to the rank of Major, and Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, and Colonel Picquart to th.« rank of Brigadier-General.)
