AN AUSTRALIAN EXPERIMENT.

MELBOURNE, July 13. The first Australian experiment in wireless telegraphy was made between Queenscliff and Devonport. . Congratulatory messages were successfully exchanged between the Governor-General, the State Governor and the Governor of Tasmania. The Marconi system was used.
