A BANQUET TO MENIS'TER^. [Per Press Association.] NELSON, Feb. 4. Mr > Seddon, Sir Joseph Ward, aoid th» Hon 0. H. Mills were entertained at a banquet last evening by the ■ citizens of Nelson. The mayor presided and there was a large and representative attendance. The function was a great success. This morning Sir Joseph Ward received a number j of deputations with regard to local wants. In respect to the question of increased post office accommodation, the PostmasterGeneral said that the matter would be carefully investigated afc once, in ord-sr to decide whether the present building should be extended or a new office erected. If at new building was determined on the site wonld be finally chosen at once. The weather' is again excellent for the j continuation of the Jubilee. j
