PRESENTATION.
A very pleasant ceremony took place in the fitting .-bop of the Southland Implement and Engineering Company vesterday. Mr A. S. Duncan, having recently become a member of the firm, being about to take his departure to tho head office at Invercargill, was the- recipient of a case of rilvermounted pipes and cigar-holtler. The presentation was $1 ad e on behalf of the employees by Mr M. ft. Hishon. who referred to the happy relationship -which exietsd between Mr Duncan and those who had the pleasure of working under him. Mr Duncan thanked the donors for the good wishes expressed and the kindness which had prompted the generous gift. The proceedings .terminated with the singing of "For he's a jolly good fellow." Mr Duncan left for 'the south by this morning's express.
