The London " Times " gives , the following account of the matter : — Second Lieutenant Philip Leslie Rmsell, the third officer of the 17th Lancers who was killed 1 , *-was twenty-three years of age, and was the youngest son of the late Hon Philip Russell, of Garngham, near' Ballarcit, Victoria.
