4 ANNTTAL SHOW. Tl'e thirtieth annual show of the Northerm Agricultural and Pastoral Associatdoni wad held at Rangiora tO-Kiay, under favourable conditions. Unid'er the supervimon of Mr ■J. Steveusdn (pi«esident), the class stewards And Jub-committees, as usual, mad© excellent arrangements, the duties of secretary Beine well carried dufc by Mr H. Lewis, in *he absence of Mr A. S. Clarkson, who arrived irt Wellington from South Africa, this morning. The eultries were not so numerous as last year, but all the main sections of the show were well filled, the horses being more numerous tnan in any previous year. Mr M. Scotfc, of the Junction Hotel, had the publican's booth, Mr |t. W. Smith the luncheon booth, and. rJie •Kangiora Brass- Band played during the day. The excursion train from .Christchurch brought in a gdod number of visitors, and th«re Wa» a. large attendance as usual froni! all parts of the district.
