The Canterbury Ram Fair was con-tinued'to-day, when the stud sheep were offered. There was a fair attendiuiee, tvit as buyers had pretty well satisfied taeir reouirement- with the special classes ol flock rams, business was not very brls V and no high prices were obtained, alth OU C" a fair clearance was made.
It is possible to see a greater stretch of surrounding country from the top of L . Hill, Surrey, than from any other sp™ iP England. Parts of ten, and with a *e,e - .cope eleven, counties can be seen fr° m tUe ummit.
