MR DUTHIE ON TOUR. I'Pkr Pbess Association.) NELSON, March 10. Mr Duthie spoke on the political situation at the Theatre Royal this evening, and received an attentive, hearing. His speech was on the same lines as his Wellington address, but he also Blamed the Premier in connection with the Midland railway. He was asked a number of questions, and in rejaly to an elector, who asked whether the Opposition would repeal any of tlie Acts of the last few years, said the gentleman wanted to know too much. He further said thatthe Opposition would not repeal the Income tux, bnt he condemned the tax severely as inquisitorial. Mr Duthie received a very hearty vote of thanks.
