MELBOURNE, March 16. - The Mount Lyell report from Feb. 9 to March 8 shows that 14,567 tens of ore wero treated, being 12,.099 tons from open cuts, assaying copper 2.87 perc ent, •silver 4.89 ounces, gold .101 ounces per ton, and from underground 1568 tons, assaying copper 3.75, silver 15.31, gold .047. The converters produced 405 tons of blister copper, containing copper 400 tons, silver 57,237 ounces, gold 1739 ounces.
