In Chambers, at Dunedin, yesterday, an application was made to sanction an agreement with Mr John Batger for the purchase of the debts due to the Colonial Bank by the Hon J. G. Ward, and Monday, April 5, was fixed as the date for the examination of the Colonial Bank . liquidators on their own offer in reference to the matter. ■
