MR PARNELL'S POSITION. [Special to Pbess Association.] LONOON, Dec. 4. A Committee, including Messrs Parnell, Healy and Sexton, intend to "wait on Mr Gladstone to obtain a satisfactory assurance regarding the control of land and police by the future Parliament of Ireland. If this is given, Parnell will retire. The officers of the National League declare that the scores of telegrams of svmpathy with Parnell are bogus. Dec. 5. It was Mr Sexton who proposed that a Committee of three should •wait on Mr Gladstone. Mr Parnell will accept the decision of the majority as to the satisfactory nature of Mr Gladstone's reply regarding the control o£ land and police by the Irish Parliament. Mr Gladstone receives the Irish deputation to-day. Mr Parnell will not be included.
