WINSLOW.
»., About six miles from Ashburton, on tho Great South road, lies the little township of Winslow, a favourite summer resort of the peoplo of Ashburton and its neighbourhood. If not particularly picturesque in itself, Winslow at least provides good country air for its patrons ; and capital accommodation may be had at tho Railway Hotel, where ho3t Harris is once more located, catering for the comfort of visitors to Winslow. Even tho penniless Bwagger is not forgotten at the Winslow Hotel, a bunk and a shelter from the weather being at tho disposal of all who have not tho means of securing better accommodation.
