TO TIIE EDITOB OF THE STAR. SIR, — Presuming I am the " prominent medical gentleman " referred to in your article of la9t evening, I beg most emphatically to deny that I am actively canvassing for Mr Richardson, or using " Ingenious explanations of Mr Richardson's views on the education question." I have received no assurance or pledgo of any kind from that gentleman.
