Mr. Lloyd George, in making a presentation to the Chairman ■ of the Press Gallery of the House of Commons, .said in his (recent visit to Paris, he found the spirit of the French better (than ever. This wa* remarkable in view of their horrible sufferings, and the enemy still occupying tlheir country ;also because' a sense of diiiscoiuragemenifc mijrht have been expected from tlhe great collapse of the Russian armies.
