After the reception to the Pioneers this morning, a photograph of the group was taken near the Bi| Pump.

A general meeting of the K.P.S. hockey club was held in the Thames South School ]vst evening, when the secretary, on behalf of the- club, welcomed back Mr Wernham as president, Avho has now almost recovered from his recent indisposition- General business^ pertaining to the club's interest was dealt with by those present.

A telegram received by one of the Jubilee Committee states that Mr W. Woodward (Rox), who was to have taken pn.rii in the Jubilee concert, in indis. posed, and he sinc«n»ly regrets having to abandon his jiurney to Thames. Mr Coney has kindly consented to take Mr Woodward's place in the oaie instance, and Mr W. Johnston in the other.
