A well attended meeting of ladies was held in, St. James' Haill last night the object (being 'to make and provide clothes :for the poor of England and Belgium. Material -which had been donated by the ladies themselves, left off elotthiag, etc., were worked upon, and L SOon fashioned into useful and >comforta.ble articles of ■wearing apparel.
