Canelejas's assassin was M'anulel SerraM Maa-tim, aged 218, who. is believed to have been incited by fiery speeches at Sunday's annual demonstration over Ferrer's execution.
Oanelejaa was entering the Ministry of Interior when four shots: •were fired, one striking him in the right eiar.
The body was laid on a table in the Central Hall, where King Alfonso knelt in prayer.
