PUKEKAWA MURDER
TRIAL OF THORN OONTINHED. . Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 20. The filial of Samuel Thor», charged with the murder of Sydney Eyre, was continued to-day. Constable Wolfendale deposed thathe and Detective McHugh searched the districts for 20 miles from Eyre's farm and examined 1300 horses, including 41S shod. None of the shoes were lik<» thoso on Mickey, which were hand made. Thorn was committed for trial on the charge of murder. Bail was refused.
