CRICKET.

CELTIC CLUB. The annual meeting of the Celtio Cricket Club was held on Tuesday night, a very fair number of members and supporters being present. In the absence of the president (ill- T. W. Lynch) Mr M. Hyland occupied the chair. The annual report showed that the season had been a very successful one, the Seniors being mmiers-up in the Senior competition and the Juniors won the cup.

The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: — Patron, Rev. Father Hurley; president, ■Dr. J. R. Loughnan; vicc-presiden bs (a number were elected) j Eouetaay, E. Geaney; treasurer, R. Marlow; auditor. T. Qumn; committee, Messrs M. Houlihan, M. Anglaud, G. McWhirter, F. Roche, P. Houlihan, P. Staploton; club captain, M. Houlihan; delegate to B.C. Association, M. Houlihan. The subscription tor the year wasfixed as follows:—Senior :255, Junior 12s 6d, honorary members' os. It was decided that the opening practice be held on Thursday, 21st iust., at Anzac Square. A hearty vote of thanks to the outgoing; officers and the chairman closed a very enthusiastic meeting, which augured well for a very successful year.

OLD BOYS v. HIGH SCHOOL. The following will represent Old Boys' first- eleven against High School, .■on the Rectory grounds, at 3 p.m., to-day:—R. Boys, S. Mason G. Thomson. A. Craven, S. Cabot. G. Harvey, Davies A. Buxton, T. Satterthwaite, A. P. O'Callaglian; emergency, P. Trevella.
