The outlook for work on the water front, ior the next, iew days is very bright. There are five arrivals set down for to-day, the "Wanaka lroiu Auckland, To Anau and Joiih from Oamaru, Oanopus from "Westpoirt, and Breeze from Dunedin. The "Wanaka will discharge about 1-5'J tons of sugar and general cargo, sailing in the evening for Bluff. The John goes on to Wellington, and the Te Anau to Napier and Gisborne. The Breeze will load for Picton and Wanganui via Lyttelton. The- Ngatoro is due about next Monday from Greymouth with a cargo of c-cal and timber, and will take general cargo for Greymouth.
