First prize in the SIDE-CAR. CLASS was obtained by F. V. Thomas, driving a •!.', h.p. U.S.A., the same competitor also winning the U.S.A. Cap. awarded -for the lines! performance put up by a singlpcyliucler machine irrespective of make. O. ]>. Rrown. on a 4 h.p. Triumph, idled fourth place in the Side-car Class. In the private owners' seclion. G. Moffat !-'tt h.p. Triumph) secured first place. In the Solo Class no H.S.A.s were entered. Tho first place in the private owners 7 section was filled by \V. Hollobon (•! h.p. Triumph), while A. ]l. Pea roc (-1 h.p. Triumph) trained second prize in the • lass as a whole. There were 2-S competitors, representing ]1 leading; makes of motor-cycles, and the success attained by U.S.A. and Triumph machines in such a jiiuelline; test emphasises in an unmistakeable manner the justness of our claim that those, two machines are the most reliable, ami altogether the most efficient motor-cycles manufactured to-dav. Take especial note that the Triumph won the private owners' prize in each of two sections. Solo and Side-ear.
