BURTON.—On May 14th, at Longner Hall, near Shrewsbury, England, the wife of Richard F. L. Burton, of a daughter.—(By cable.) IN MEMORIAM. SHEPHERD.—In loving memory of John Edward Shepherd, who departed this life May 21st, 1902; aged 26 years. Calm is thy slumber, as an infant's sleep; But thou shalt wake no more to toil and weep ; Thins is a perfect rest, secure and deep, Until we meet again before His throne, Clothed in the spotless robe He calls His own, Until we know even as we are known.
