TEMUKA CEMETERY.

TO THB EDITOR OF THE TIMARU HERALD. Sir, — Would you allow me space for giving vent to a few impressions on matters referring to the above cemetery ? j fn .times gqne by it used, to be ray pleasure to cycle out to Temuka, and on no occasion did I miss visiting what the Temuka people prided themselves m as the neatest little cemetery m New Zealand. Lately I paid several of those visits, but am sorry to say— and I say it as one disinterested further than a lover of neatness— l found things had changed. Imagine a clean-shaved face and a bristly old " mug " and you have the change m a nutshell. The grass used to be cut as neatly as a lawn, and the place was exceedingly tidy. Look at it now ! The Cemetery Board should see that the grass is mown. lam surprised that the people of Temuka tolerate the present state of affairs. I am, etc., ;... Cosmopolitan.
