RANGITATA.
«. At the nomination at Geraldine for the Rangitata seat yesterday, the Hon. William Rolleston and Messrs Buston and Palmer wero duly proposed and seconded. Tho show of hands gave Mr Rolleston 28, Mr Buxton 21, and Mr Palmer 0. A poll was demanded on behalf of Mr Buxton. Pressure on our space compols us to hold over a full report of the proceedings, which will appear on Monday.
