AUCKLAND HOSPITAL.
(By Telegraph.) AICKLAND, Sspt. 16. Charges of incunpotency and neglect having, it is alleged, recently been made by members of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board against the visiting medical staff who have charge of the hospital, Dr Haines, ono of tho staff, wrote demanding an enquiry to be held by the Board, so as to give an opportunity of disproving tho charges, and at a special meeting or the Board yesterday, tho visiting staff anJ Dr McGregor, Inspector of Asylums, being present, it was, after long discussion, resolved to hold a specicl meeting on the 28th insf., to discuss the whole question of hospital management. The visiting staff is dissatisfied with the scheme adopted by tbo Board in resolving to appoint a Medical Superintendent for the hospital.
