Batter is dead—A survey of the steamer ' Golden Crown' was held to-day, by Captains Anderson and Sellers, and Mr M. Mccol, when it was decided to close in part of the fore end, willi which alteration the surveyors agreed that the vessel would be perfectly seawortliy. The ' Crown' came over from the North Shore under sail this morning.
