WRECKAGE FOUND.

Waihi, August 26. — A considerable amount, of wreckage is reported to have been washed ashore on the Waihi beach. One piece , about thirty feet in length, resembles the bulwarks of a steamer.

The Rotoiti is to sail from Nelson for New Plymouth at 9 to-night. The Corinna sailed for Onehunga on Saturday night. The Corinna will .^arrive from Onehunga to-morro\t^ golpg South. The Moa' left ?on Saturday night for Westport to Joad coal for Foxton. Captain Hutehings. Sfcthe Union S.S. Company, joined .the' MoUra on Friday in place of Captain Lindsay, who goes to the Corinna. The steamer loads cargo at Auckland for London, and leaves for Wellington on Monday next to fill up. She will sail finally for London about the end of this month. . . ' The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Wakanui, due at Auckland about the end of next week, has. 4000 tons of cargo to load at that port, 'this is one of the largest cargoes ever taken to Auckland in one bottom. > !
