The Chairman reported that since last meeting the following appointments had been nuado : — Mahoe, Mir A. .1. Harding; Toko, Mtr 0. L. Allan; Hiiiroa. The rep.ort was received, and his recommendations will be given effect to. COMMISSIONERS. Mx Morton moved, and Mr Acllam. seconded, That Mr Meredith be informed that he has not completed his contract in the time required by the specifications the Boai'd now cancels the contract and forfeits the amount of the deposit, and the Architect be instructed to call for fresh tenders. Mr Faull moved as an amendment, That M> Meredith be notified to proceed to complete his contract at once without prejudice to the Board's right to enforce the penalties'. The amendment was lost and the motion carried.

INCLEWOOD. A letter from the Health Department relative to requirements at the Inglewoort Sahool latrines was referred to the Architect! PUKJBAJIUHE. Mr A. Neiss, had been reported about excessively beating tho children, and also with using the schoolroom and burning the Comimit"tce's .firewood after school hours.
