RECORD OF THE TARANAKI TEAMf

The Taranaki rep team concluded their tour at Palmerston North on Wednesday, when tlxey added another victory to the list. The team played five matches all of which were won. The record is :—: — V. Wanganui, won by 5 to 0. V. Hawkes Bay, 11 to 3. V. Wellington, 5 to 3. V. Wairax*apa, 13 to 9.

V. Manawatu, 7 to 3. The remaining matches to be played are against Auckland and Thames at New Plymouth. Before the team set out some "wits" dubbed it " George Symes' PicnicParty," but the results of the tour prove that the "wits" were no prophets.
