An Italian official message says:— After violent efforts to advance southwards from the Co! Caprile to Monte Pertiea, the enemy only succeeded in gaining advantages at Monte Casalone. Nevertheless we took a number of prisoners.
Our naval forces prevented an attempt to cross the Yecchia and the Piave.
