The Press Bureau states that an official diagram shows that the British, Allied, and neutral tonnage sunk ha» steadily declined since June until tie sinkings from September to December 12th were lower than those for the March quarter.
Another diagram indicates the steady rise in the number of German submarines sunk. The total since September is nearly double the total for the March quarter.
