New York, Dec. 19. A United Press Agency despatch from Stockholm gives details of an interview with Herr Weltner, leader of the Hungarian Socialists, who stated tlrat more than 100,000 people demonstrated at Budapest on August 24th and demanded a general peace. They rejected a separate peace proposal as likely to jeopardise democracy.
