The body of Charles Smith, stockman of To Uku, was found in tho scrub with a gun between his legs, and the greater portion of his head blown off. He left a note bidding his employer good-bye. The deceased originally camb from Hobart. He served on Gallipoli, and was discharged about a year ago.
