STEAMER IN DANGER.

Received July li 1-22 p.m. Sydney, July 1. Wilson's Promontory reports tnat the steamer Glaucas, bound from Neweaetle to Melbourne, coal laden, waa signalled this afternoon. Her maio shaft \vw broken, and she was in tow of the steamer Kanowna, and making for Waterloo Bny. A whole gale is blowing. A later report states that the tow rope broke off Waterloo Bay. The Glaucus homed two blue lights. The Kanowna nad proceeded on her course, but the steamer Perth was staudiug by the Glaucus. Tho steamer Despatch reported the accident to the Glaucus at Cape Patterson with an urgent request to send a tug.
