The Burnett, Captain Seaplehorn, from Sydney and Wellington, came into harbor on Wednesday afternoon last, the 9th instant. She lias been out from Sydney three weeks to the day of her arrival here, and left Wellington on Monday last. She brings a general cargo. The passage throughout has been attended -with fine weather.
The Burmah was to leave Wellington shortly after the departure of the Burnett. The carpenter of the Burmah was unfortunately drowned whilst alongside the vessel, on Sunday evening last. The boat he wasin was swamped, and he was not seen again.
