t 1 DAY OF RETRIBUTION ARRIVES. iSpcrial to The Sun.] WANGANUT, May 21. To ninny of those who recklessly acquired high-priced land, with little or no cash, the day of reckoning is coming quicker than was expected. It is stated that quite a number of summonses have been issued against, dairymen along the North Island West Coast who were unable to meet their interest. In one case a foreclosure was made on the mortgage. One authority says that he blamed those responsible for financing these fictitious sales more than the misguided purchasers, who thought fortunes could be made quickly out of dairying.
