The river report, issued at 9 o'clock to-day, shows the rivers of the district to be in various conditions. The Waitaki and the Waimakariri North are clear, and the south branch of the latter 4*s discoloured, as also is the Rangitata; he Opihi is fishable, and the Bakaia dirty.
