ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union was held on Tuesday evening, December 15, Mrs MeCombs presiding. There was a good attendance of members. The annual report was read and confirmed. A statement of expenditure and receipts for the luncheon booth at the A. and P. Show was received. The following nominations for Dominion officers were received:—-Presi-dent, Mrs Don, Dunedin; recording secretary, Mrs A. N. Atkinson, Wellington; corresponding Miss Henderson, Christehurch; treasurer, Mrs Bendily, Auckland. The following officers w r ere elected for the' Christehurch Union: President, Mrs MeCombs; correspondence secretary, Mrs B. Day; recording secretary, Mrs F. Stewart; treasurer, Mrs Seed; white ribbon, Mrs Williams; vice-presidents, Mesdanies Patterson, T.-'E. Taylor, Blyth, Williams,. S. Lo-vell-Smith: It was resolved that the next meeting of the union be iiield on the fourth Wednesday in Janu- ! ary, 191J5.
