Motor tyre prices in America, which jumped from 10 to 15 per cent, when war broke out, have now gone nearly to normal again. Shaft drive for motor bicycle transmission is expected to be a leading innovation in 1915 models. The Wellington Swimming Centre is still in its deep sleep, aud seems to be unmoved by any suggestion of activity (says a Wellington writer). There appears to have been no meeting called to discuss the question of a guarantee for Kahanamolcn, and who is doing its business is not apparent. There is considerable indignation among some delegates who have no "opportunity of discussing vital matters officially.
