Information has been received, that ' the F. and S. Line's Dorset cleared Liverpool for Australian ports on November 4. Vessels expected in New Zealand shortly to load for Home on behalf of O. 11. Scales, Ltd., are the Cape Ortegal and the Messina. The former vessel left Newcastle on Tuesday for Lyttelton, Picton, Wellington, Napier, and Auckland. She is due here on Sunday, and will load 2000 bales of wool. The Messina arrived at Sydney on Monday- with a number of German prisoners from Ocean Island. After coaling she comes direct to New Zealand.

The British tramp steamer Southport, which escaped from the Germans at Kusale, and arrived at Brisbane oh September 29, is to leave shortly for Nauru and Ocean Islands to load phosphates for Melbourne (states an Australian exchange)'.
